Fernando Demaria Lüders (Santiago, October 16, 1992) known as Nano Demaria, is a former National enduro runner-up, gold and silver medalist at the ISDE Mexico 2010 and Finland 2011 World Championships. Commercial engineer, person with a disability and chilean motivational speaker. Life. He is the son of former national rugby team member Pablo Demaria Lucchini and former model Pilar Lüders Norris. He is the cousin of chef and TV presenter Virginia Demaria.His maternal grandfather is the economist and academic Rolf Lüders. He studied at Craighouse School, graduating in 2011. After suffering a serious accident while competing in the first round of the Enduro World Championship in Talca on Sunday 25 March 2012, which left him with C5 tetraplegia and no mobility, his transfer by helicopter was vital, as he would not have survived on land due to the movement of the ground to the Clínica Alemana. That year he began his rehabilitation at the ACHS Worker's Hospital in Santiago and the Luis Krebs Institute in Viña del Mar. Despite all the predictions, in 2013, he entered the commercial engineering course at the Andrés Bello University, so, in his years of study, he had to take the tests orally, to pass. He graduated in 2017, obtained a master's degree in business administration and graduated as the second best student in his career in 2018. He currently gives motivational talks on resilience, and as a result, he was chosen as a speaker to give a TEDxVitacura Talks in 2024. Through his social networks, he shares educational and training information on disability care. He drives his own car, practices handcycle, skiing, diving and parachuting.
