Otis Poole is a British high jumper. He won the 2025 British Indoor Athletics Championships at the age of 17. Early life. From Chippenham, Wiltshire, he attends Sheldon School in Chippenham. Career. Poole competes for Yate & District Athletic Club in Gloucestershire, where he is coached by Joy Bray. 2024: English U17 champion. He won the England Athletics U17 indoor high jump title in February 2024, with a personal best height of 2.03 metres. He won the U17 title outdoors in July 2024, with a personal best clearance of 2.07 metres. He won the England U20 indoor high jump title in February 2025 with a personal best of 2.09 metres. 2025: British senior champion. He won the British Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham in February 2025 at the age of 17, with a personal best height of 2.20 metres. This came after he was a late entry into the competition, a few days before. For his effort, he was additionally given the 'performance of the day' award by the organisers. The clearance also moved him into the number two spot in the world U20 rankings.
