Little Village is an independent, alternative, magazine focused on news and culture in eastern Iowa.
History.
It was founded in 2001. Notably, the magazine is distributed for free thanks to their entirely ad-supported status in coffee shops, restaurants, and "lots of mechanics and auto dealerships."
In 2021, "Little Village" expanded distribution from the Quad City, Cedar Rapids, and Waterloo region to include Des Moines, and in 2024 to the Dubuque area.
