Davy Gardner is an American writer and curator best known for his work on The Truth Podcast and as the Head of Podcasts & Audio Storytelling at Tribeca Enterprises, where he launched and oversees Tribeca Audio, the podcast arm of the Tribeca Festival. Gardner is a longtime contributor to The Truth Podcast, which was named by Vulture as one of “The 10 Essential Fiction Podcasts That Shaped the Genre.” His original works include the critically-acclaimed audio dramas Museum of You and the three-part series Pariah , the latter of which earned him a nomination for Best Fiction Scriptwriting at the Podcast Academy Awards. Gardner has also launched and produced hit nonfiction series like Wondery's Against the Odds, hosted and executive produced the interview show Tribeca Audio Premieres, and has guest-produced for Slate's Death Sex & Money with Anna Sale. His work has been featured in major media outlets including The New York Times, Forbes, and Vanity Fair. In 2021, Gardner helped The Tribeca Festival become the first major film festival to create an official selection program for podcasts. In addition to the official selection program, Gardner also curates and produces an esteemed lineup of high-profile live podcast events at The Tribeca Festival each year. Gardner is an Executive Member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and a founding committee member of the WGA Audio Alliance. Gardner began his career as a comedy writer with The Foundation, a weekend team at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. Personal life.
