Los domingos is an upcoming drama film directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa starring newcomer Blanca Soroa in the leading role.
Plot.
The plot follows idealist young woman Ainara who is undecided about which university degree to choose and ponders about the possibility of joining a convent instead.
Production.
The project, then reported to be in development, was announced in May 2024. The film is a Movistar Plus+ co-production with Sayaka Producciones, Buenapinta Media, Think Studio, and Colosé Producciones. In early 2025, prior to the start of filming, Ruiz de Azúa told that her previous works "Lullaby" and "Querer" were, in a way, "bricks in the house" of "Los domingos". Principal photography began on 20 February 2025. Shooting locations in Bilbao included the .
