The Psammotermitidae are a family of termites that regrouped the subfamilies Psammotermitinae and Prorhinotermitinae, which were formerly nested within Rhinotermitidae. The subfamilies are monogeneric and represented by their respective genera, "Psammotermes" and "Prorhinotermes".
