The NNEdPro Global Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health is an interdisciplinary think tank founded in 2008. It evolved from the Need for Nutrition Education/Innovation Programme (NNEdPro) and is based in Cambridge, UK. NNEdPro focuses on advancing nutrition education, research, and policy to improve health outcomes. It offers the NNEdPro-IANE Cambridge Summer School, providing a Foundation Certificate in Applied Human Nutrition. This programme covers nutritional concepts, research methods, and applications in healthcare and policy. The institute collaborates with Dundee and Angus College to enhance culinary skills and nutrition education. This partnership provides students with practical experiences and access to evidence-informed materials. NNEdPro also partners with the Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health (NICHE) at Ulster University, one of the largest nutrition research groups in the UK and Ireland. Professor Sumantra Ray, NNEdPro's founding chair, is a British medical doctor and registered nutritionist. He holds academic positions at Ulster University and King's College London and has published extensively in the field.
