Omiya started his formula career in 2023 as he joins Ponos Racing to race in F4 Japan. Omiya then finished 11th in the standings. Omiya stayed with Ponos for the next season, with new teammate Rintaro Sato. Omiya finished 9th in the standings with 2 podiums.
