In 2012, the private commercial company Fadaat Media Group was founded in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Fadaat Media's first launch was Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, an Arabic-language news website, which went live in March 2014. The company then launched the Arabic daily newspaper with the same name in September 2014.
