Roger Alexander is a Trinidad and Tobago politician from the United National Congress (UNC). He has been MP for Tunapuna in the House of Representatives since 2025.
Career.
Alexander had a career with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. He was a senior superintendent. Alexander was the co-host of the TTPS Beyond the Tape television programme on TV6. He resigned from the police to stand in the 2025 Trinidad and Tobago general election. Alexander unseated Esmond Forde from the People's National Movement (PNM). After the election he was appointed Minister of Homeland Security by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
