Yolanda Cabodevilla is an American businesswoman who served as First Lady of the United States Virgin Islands from 2019 to 2024. She is the former wife of Albert Bryan, the 9th Governor of the United States Virgin Islands.
She is also the second woman of Hispanic and Puerto Rican heritage to become First Lady since Luz Maria Guadalupe Luis.
In June 2019, Bryan was chosen as EDA Business Ambassador for the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority.
Early life and education.
As a child, Bryan spent her early years in Puerto Rico and New York. She later relocated to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands during her formative years of education where she met and married Governor Albert Bryan.
Bryan is fluent in Spanish and has a B.S. in Marketing with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands.
Career.
Mrs. Bryan has over twenty years of experience in marketing, public relations, tourism and project management. She is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated – St. Croix Alumnae Chapter and is an Advisory Board Member of the USVI Department of Health Chronic Disease Division.
Personal life.
Bryan is a proud mom of two daughters, Aliyah and Sumayah.
