Nico Delgado is the founder and chairman of NicoPAC, a political action committee focused on electing Republican candidates across Arizona. In 2022, Delgado entered the realm of politics volunteering for candidates running for high offices in Arizona such as Governor and Attorney General. Later that year, he became the spokesmen for the North Valley Young Republicans, a satellite club of the Arizona Young Republicans. Delgado is notable for not being from a political family prior to his debut. In 2023, he gained prominence from his Twitter account which had boosted his notoriety. Later that year, he was elected chairman of the Arizona chapter of Teenage Republicans and remained at the helm of leadership until the following year. In March, he declined to run for re-election to pursue a new avenues. In mid-2024, Delgado formed a political action committee known as NicoPAC focused on helping state and local candidates. The PAC gained traction through the controversial messaging it used to maintain Republican seats and flip Democratic-held ones. Delgado also works as a staffer for Congressman Abe Hamadeh. On February 21, 2025, Delgado was appointed by Gina Swoboda, Chairwoman of the Arizona Republican Party to be the Youth Advisor for the state party. NicoPAC. For the 2024 cycle, NicoPAC invested into slew of races in Arizona ranging from school board to county level and State Legislature. The PAC won 14 of the 17 competitive races it was involved in. The most notable of races was in Arizona's 4th Legislative District in which Democratic incumbent Senator Christine Marsh was unseated by Republican challenger Carine Warner. Legislation. In 2023, Delgado worked with State Legislators to propose House Concurrent Resolution 2004, the "Arizona Civic Participation Act," which would have lowered the qualifying age to run for the Arizona State Legislature from 25 to 18. "You're never too young to be a patriot," he said. "If you're old enough to serve our country in the military, you should also have the opportunity to elect peers who reflect your views and values. The Arizona Civic Participation Act will empower thousands of young Arizonans and encourage the next generation of Arizona civic leaders to step forward now." In 2024, Delgado work with State Representative Nick Kupper to introduce House Bill 2601 which would exempt minors making less than $50,000 from state income tax. As of March 26, 2025, it has passed out of the House with a bipartisan supermajority, passed out of two committees in the Senate, and is awaiting a Senate floor vote.
