Alex Yeo Sheng Chye () is a Singaporean politician who was elected to the Parliament of Singapore in the 2025 general election. He represents the Potong Pasir SMC as a member of the People's Action Party.
Education.
Yeo was part of the debating team in Victoria School and Tampines Junior College. He studied economics and political science at the National University of Singapore and later graduated from the University of Sydney with a second degree in law.
Political career.
After Murali Pillai was elected as Bukit Batok SMC MP in 2016, in 2017, Yeo became the Paya Lebar branch chair. In the 2020 general elections, Yeo was fielded in the opposition-held Aljunied GRC, but lost to the opposition Workers' Party led by opposition stalwarts Pritam Singh and Sylvia Lim. with just 40% of the vote In the 2025 general election, Yeo was fielded in Potong Pasir SMC replacing Sitoh Yih Pin. Yeo faced a three-corned fight against the SPP's Williamson Lee and PAR's Lim Tean. Yeo would proceed to win with 69.20% of the vote against Lee's 22.46% and Lim's 8.33%.
