Benaras Media Works Pvt. Ltd is an Indian film production company established by Anubhav Sinha in 2011. Based in Mumbai, it mainly produces Hindi films.
2011–2017.
The company's first production was Gurmmeet Singh's "Warning" (2013) starring Santosh Barmola, Madhurima Tuli, Manjari Fadnis, Varun Sharma, Jitin Gulati and Sumit Suri. Followed by "Gulaab Gang" (2014) starring Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla.
2018-Present.
Benaras Media Works under the directions of Anubhav Sinha began producing socially relevant films such as "Mulk" (2018), "Article 15" (2019), "Thappad" (2020). These films were both critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
The company later produced "Anek" (2022), "Middle Class Love" (2022), "Faraaz" (2023), "Bheed" (2023) and "Afwaah" (2023), further expanding its portfolio.
In 2024 Benaras Mediaworks, in association with Matchbox Shots produced "", a critically acclaimed television series based on the real-life hijacking of the Indian Airlines flight IC 814 from Kathmandu to Delhi. The Series became one of the most-watched shows of the year and remained in Netflix's global Top 10 for eight weeks.
