The 1st North East India Film Festival, Manipur took place from 3 to 7 March, 2024 at Imphal, Manipur. The festival had screened 14 films from North East India at two venues, Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) and Tanthapolis Cinema, Lamphel. The opening ceremony was held at MSFDS, Palace Compound, followed by screening of the opening film "Eikhoigi Yum". The films were selected under two sections, "Competition" and "NEIFF Spectrum".
