Mitela Sumi is a Naga singer from Nagaland who rose to prominence after winning the inaugural season of "The Stage Nagaland" in December 2019. Organized by the Musicians Academy Dimapur, the competition concluded at The Garden, Supermarket in Dimapur, where Sumi outperformed ten other contestants. Her victory earned her a cash prize of ₹1 lakh and an opportunity to produce a music video. Following her win, she released a single titled "Dream," available on various music streaming platforms.
