Khan Bahadur Manekshah Sorabshah Commissariat (Māṇekaśāha Sorabaśāha Kōmisariyeta) (11 January 1881 - 25 May 1972) was a historian of Sultanate, Mughal, and Maratha Gujarat. Commissariat was born in a Parsi family and was educated at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. In 1903 he acquired a B.A. from the University of Bombay, and in 1905 he acquired an M.A. from the same institution. Soon afterwards, he was appointed as Professor of History and Economics at Gujarat College, where he also served as principal for a short time. After retiring in 1935, he moved to Bombay with his brother Jehangir.
