Auckland Football Club Reserves is a football team based in Auckland, New Zealand. They currently serve as the reserve side of the Auckland FC of the A-League and compete in the New Zealand National League. History. In March 2024, it was announced that Auckland FC will enter a reserve team into the Northern League. This caused controversy as this altered the promotion and relegation process for the NRFL Championship. On 10 February 2025 it was reported that Auckland FC had appointed their first ever reserves head coach with the appointment of Luke Casserly. On 12 February, Auckland FC revealed that their first ever reserve match is scheduled on 22 March 2025 against Fencibles United. On 14 February 2025, Auckland FC announced their inaugural reserve squad. Auckland FC announced that they would use Fred Taylor Park as their home ground for their inaugural season. Players.
