Adéla Jergová (born November 27, 2003), known mononymously as Adéla (stylized in all caps), is a Slovak singer and songwriter. She began her solo music career in 2024 with the release of her first two singles, "Homewrecked" and "Superscar".
She is best known for her participation in Hybe and Geffen Records' 2023 survival show "Dream Academy", a competition to form a global girl group. She did not advance in the competition, which concluded with the formation of Katseye.
Life and career.
Adéla Jergová was born on November 27, 2003, in Bratislava, Slovakia. She began taking ballet lessons in Moscow starting when she was three years old. As a child, she became interested in vocal mastering and production. As a teenager, she moved to Vienna to join the Vienna State Ballet, and then moved to London the following year to attend the English National Ballet School.
In 2022, Adéla moved to Los Angeles to compete on the 2023 Hybe Corporation and Geffen Records reality competition series "Dream Academy" against 19 other girls. During the first challenge, she performed a group dance to the Blackpink song "Pink Venom" and was one of the first to be eliminated after receiving the fewest fan votes. The winners of the series went on to form the girl group Katseye. Adéla also appeared in Netflix's behind-the-scenes docuseries covering the events of "Dream Academy", titled "Pop Star Academy: Katseye", which premiered in 2024. That year, she made her debut as a solo artist in September with the release of her single "Homewrecked," which "Out" named one of the best singles for the week of its release. Adéla's second single "Superscar" was released in October 2024. , she is attending college in Los Angeles for music.
In May 2025, Adéla signed a recording contract with Capitol Records, marking her first major label partnership.

Adéla's music is classified as pop. She has described her lyrics as "exaggerated" and "over-the-top" versions of the events of her life. She has cited Beyoncé and Lady Gaga as her biggest musical influences, calling herself "the biggest BeyHive you've ever fucking met," and listed Mariah Carey, Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, Céline Dion, and Aretha Franklin as early inspirations for her vocals and Imogen Heap, Ariana Grande, and Beyoncé as influential for her use of harmonies.
Adéla worked with electronic music producer Grimes on her single "Machine Girl".
