The 82nd annual Venice International Film Festival will be held from 27 August to 6 September 2025, at Venice Lido in Italy. American filmmaker Alexander Payne will serve as Jury President for the main competition.
German filmmaker Werner Herzog and American actress Kim Novak will receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement during the festival.
