The 1960 Carolina League was a Class B baseball season played between April 19 and September 5. Six teams played a 140-game schedule, with the winner of each half of the season qualifying for the league finals. The Greensboro Yankees won the Carolina League championship, defeating the Burlington Indians in the final round of the playoffs. Team changes.
