Early life. Ni Luh Putu Ary Pertami Djelantik was born in the village of Kalianget in Seririt district of the Buleleng Regency of Bali, she is from a simple family. Her parents divorced when Djelantik was one year old. Raised alone by her mother, Djelantik often accompanied her mother to trade at the market. Unfortunately, due to lack of funds, little Djelantik almost never got new shoes. The shoes she had were always too big and never fit her feet. The shoes only felt right when they were damaged and had holes. Since then, footwear has always been Djelantik's concern. Djelantik received her education at elementary school 3.4.7 Banjar Jawa (1982–1988), SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja (1988–1991), and SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja (1991–1994). In 1994, Djelantik then studied at Gunadarma University while working. Career. After graduating in 1999, Djelantik returned to Bali and worked at a fashion company owned by Paul Ropp, a United States national. She was appointed marketing director in 2012. the company's sales increased by -430% and opened ten new boutiques in several locations. This success took him to New York. Unfortunately, Djelantik fell ill which made him unable to travel for six months. Finally, Djelantik decided to return to Bali. Although in Indonesia, Djelantik tried his luck by collaborating with Cedric Cador, the man who later became her husband. Cedric often sold Indonesian goods in Europe. From this collaboration, the Nilou label was born, where the shoe manufacturing process under this label really gets strict supervision from Djelantik. To maintain quality and ensure that the shoes produced are comfortable to wear, all manufacturing processes are carried out conventionally by hand. Nilou's first collection was finally known in France and other parts of the world. Orders came in for up to 4,000 pairs, where a number of top Hollywood celebrities such as Uma Thurman, "supermodel" Gisele Bundchen, Tara Reid, and Robyn Gibson are fanatical fans of Nilou shoes. In mid-2007, Djelantik received offers from Australian and French agents to expand by mass producing shoes under his label. The plan was for the production to be carried out in China. Djelantik rejected the offer. This decision actually backfired, because without his knowledge, the bidders had patented Nilou and continued to mass produce Nilou products in Hong Kong. The impact of the lost opportunity, Djelantik gave birth to a new work with Niluh Djelantik which was patented in 2008. Djelantik is the owner of the Niluh Djelantik shoe trademark. Before seriously pursuing shoe design, Djelantik won the Best Fashion Brand & Designer award from The Yak Awards 2010. His love for shoes led him to pursue a shoe business that is now known worldwide. Not only winning awards, this label has also penetrated Globus Switzerland, one of the leading "retailers" in 2011. This achievement continued in 2012, where Djelantik then had the opportunity to collaborate with a "retailer" from Russia. Political career.
