Quest, also known as Quest - Hire a Hero, is a Singapore-based mobile application startup founded in 2021. It operates as an AI-powered platform designed to connect users to facilitate the completion of a wide range of tasks. These tasks range from everyday errands and gig jobs to more specialised creative and professional services such as social media content creation.
History.
Quest was founded as a startup in June 2021, by three SMU graduates Evan Chow (CEO), Matthew Wu (CPO) and Craig Choy (CTO). The original aim was to utilise AI to create more opportunities for the gig economy and local employment.
As of April 2025, Quest has reportedly established a user base of 450,000 in Singapor, Philippines and the United States, with more than 80,000 quests being posted. The platform is one of the largest digital marketplaces in the Singapore local market.
