Dewa Made Mahayadnya (; born July 19, 1967) better known as Dewa Jack is an Indonesian politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) who has served as the Speaker of the Bali Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) since October 2024.
Education and early career.
Born and raised in Banjar Village, Buleleng, Bali Dewa Jack has devoted himself to the Balinese people through the legislative path.
At the age of 57, Dewa Jack has completed his Bachelor of Law education and is now one of the central figures in the Bali Provincial DPRD.
Political career.
Dewa Jack began his political career in 1999 by joining with the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle.
Parliament.
In 2009, he was elected as a member of the Regional House of Representatives of Buleleng Regency, where he served as Chair of Commission C in charge of development, finance, and budget. The term of office in Buleleng Regency lasted until 2014.
In 2014, Dewa Jack was elected for the first time as a member of Bali Provincial DPRD.
During the 2014-2019 period, he underwent his duties as an ordinary member. In the period 2019-2024, he was trusted to serve as chairman of the faction PDI Perjuangan in DPRD Bali Province. This period marked the third period of Dewa Jack as a member of the Bali DPRD, showing the consistency and trust given by the community and his party.
In the 2024 election, he was again elected as a member of DPRD Bali. He was predicted as speaker DPRD Bali next.
Speaker of Parliament.
On October 8, 2024 Dewa Jack was appointed as speaker of the Bali Provincial DPRD by acting Governor of Bali Sang Made Mahendra Jaya in the main courtroom of the Bali Provincial DPRD, Denpasar.
