Joe Cooney (born 1956/1957) is an Irish Fine Gael politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency since the 2024 general election.
Cooney was a member of Clare County Council from 2004 to 2024, representing the Killaloe electoral area.
Cooney previously ran a construction firm, and was the Clare County Board GAA chairman from 2016 to 2021. He is married, and has three sons.
