Spa Common is a suburb of North Walsham in the North Norfolk district of the county of Norfolk, England. The area is located on the eastern fringe of the town, near the hamlet of White Horse Common. The area had a population of 267 residents.
History.
Originally, the area around Spa Common was recorded in 19th Century, as "Bluebell and Spa Commons". Enclosures were established around North Walsham for use as farming. These enclosures drastically changed the landscape of the area as a result. Spa Common later became a small expansion of North Walsham with the opening of the North Walsham and Dilham Canal.
Bacton Wood Water Mill.
The area is home to Bacton Wood Water Mill, which was first recorded in the Domesday Book. The mill is now owned by Norfolk Mills, a heritage group. 
Anchor Road Bridge.
A bridge on Anchor Road was constructed to cross the canal during its operations and is now a Grade II listed structure.
Public house.
Spa Common once had a pub, named the "The Anchor". This pub was closed in 1958. It has since been demolished.
Present day.
Spa Common is now a part of the North Walsham civil parish and is a residential area of the town.
