Joachim Froment is a Belgian industrial designer known for integrating sustainability, generative design, and digital fabrication into his work. His designs explore the intersection of poetry, industry, and material innovation, often incorporating large-scale 3D printing with recycled plastics. 
Education.
Froment studied Industrial Design at La Cambre in Brussels before earning a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in London.
Career.
Froment began his career as a designer and project manager at Skibsted Ideation in Copenhagen, collaborating with brands such as Hay, Engelbrechts, Danfoss, and Biomega. He launched his own practice, Joachim Froment Studio, and later co-founded Futurewave, a Belgian design and technology agency.
His work is defined by material experimentation and innovative manufacturing processes, including: 0.6 Chair – A laminated wood and carbon fiber chair, recognized at London Design Week, Strat Collection – A series of 3D-printed furniture using recycled plastic, presented internationally, Knit Lamp – A 3D-printed lighting design using  recycled PET materials.
