Maher Mauricio Carrizo (born 19 February 2006) is an Argentine footballer currently playing as a centre-forward for Vélez Sarsfield and for the Argentina national under-20 football team.
Early life.
Carrizo started at the age of 5 in a football school for children in his town, Colonia Dora. He then played for a while in the young categories of Central Córdoba.

In 2015 he joined Vélez Sarsfield, where in 2023 he was the top scorer in the young divisions with 26 goals.
He made his debut in the first team on January 17, 2024 against Belgrano, in the Serie Río de La Plata 2024.
In the 2024 Copa Argentina, he played his first official match on August 6, 2024, and scored his first goal as a professional.
International career.
He was called up by Diego Placente to the Argentine U-17 national team in November 2023, to play in the U-17 World Cup.
In August 2024, he was called up by Javier Mascherano to the Argentine U-20 football team, to play in international friendlies. In 2025, he was in the group to play in the South American U-20 Championship in Venezuela.
